Northern island tour
Depart from hotel and drive to traditional villages with its culture and traditions.
We will visit the local fishing village of Ntsaoueni where we will be able to see how under pretty primitive fishing conditions with the local Galawa boat made of the trank of mango tree.
Visit ylang ylang plantation with its precious flowers which is used to produce natural oil, an important component in the production of the most expensive perfumes in the world.
We will see the oldest and largest millenary baobab tree of the island which was used to jail people by Sultans.
Proceed to the Dragon's Rock, which is a large and very interesting rock formation, resembling the tail of a dragon or dinosaur. According to the legend and beliefs of the local population, rock is considered the final resting place of a prehistoric dragon who swam across the ocean and died as soon as he reached the shore of the sacred island of Comoros. In close proximity there is the Le Lac Sale, salt lake which water is reputed to heal skin diseases
The road we will follow leads along a beautiful, white-sand beach, among almost outgrowing pretty and magnificent baobabs.
Visit the miracle mosque, an old mosque of 700 years which is belieived to be built without human labor
