Drive to the the Guereza fortress and citadels of Itsandra
Located on a hill overlooking the Itsandra city and the west coast, The Guereza fortress offers one of the best viewpoints in the area.
It was built in the 18th century and has protectecd the ancient sultan Msa Fumu of grande Comore.
The fortress dates back to earlier defensive systems built to protect against foreing attacks to Itsandra city.
Today, it stands as a peaceful, citadels where visitors can enjoy sweeping views of Itsandra, beaches, and surrounding landscapes.
The pathway to the fortress is scenic, and the elevated point makes it a favorite for sunset watchers
You can admire the sultan palace and the amazing watch towers of the palace.
You can discover the portics of its old city and the little historical marabou house.
Proceed to Tsoudjini village to see the historical rampart and fortress built by the sultan in the 18th century around the village
Stop at the cimetry of the sultan Msafumu of the tribe Ignafamba who was killed by the french in the 2 February 1883

Continue to the agricultural land Samba kouni to see local spice trees such as vanilla, coffee and cloves
